InMotion deliberately does not run LiteSpeed: its UltraStack is NGINX, PHP-FPM, and OPcache, which it says lets it tune the stack without licence constraints. That matters if your WordPress performance plan assumes LSCache.

Launch renews at $14.99/mo against a $4.79 intro — 3.1×, in the same band as Hostinger (3.7×) and DreamHost (3.8×), well under SiteGround (6×) and IONOS (14×).   The r/webhosting moderators' pinned shortlist 'Best Web Hosting Providers in 2026' (last updated July 15, 2026) names InMotion Hosting as one of five hosts the mod team has personally used and would use again, citing 25 years of independent private ownership, self-owned bare-metal hardware and network, and 24/7 Tier-3 human support. Context that matters: the list is curated by volunteer moderators, not an independent test lab; the mods say they 'occasionally secret-shop support' rather than run load tests; and every listed host keeps a representative active in the subreddit. It is a strong practitioner endorsement — treat it as that, not as a benchmark. The thread's comments do not discuss InMotion directly; the endorsement is the moderators' own.

  Vendor response: No InMotion representative posted in the thread when we read it.

  What we could check: InMotion is in the original 37-provider uptime cohort: its homepage monitor was retired on September 10, 2026 after datacenter-IP blocking, and its robots.txt edge monitor has recorded no incidents through September 22.
